when he asks her to do something like she always does
when he is comfortable
enough to talk about anything
yet surprised by her beauties
and thrilled by each of her glances,
by her points of view
which he ponders seriously
always wanting to do for her
and there is always a bit more he wants to say to her
because conversation helps them both learn
and makes them fuller
when both make effort, but neither is ever spent
when he makes her feel wanted,
lets her know she is a centerpiece of his thoughts
lets her know;
and knows she feels the same way
